Algae advanced research

ABT creates investment opportunities through undertaking extensive research and development, using a variety of technologies and techniques for revenue-producing commercial enterprises. For optimum success we also provide operational and training support in our processes.

Algae products

ABT farms and produces algae to be used in a variety of by-products ranging from pharmaceutical, nutriceutical, agricultural, biofuels to bioplastics.

Aquaculture products

ABT designs aquaculture-related applications for hatcheries and marine farms. Some of our products are larval diets and food additives which are a natural baby feed and will increase the survival and strength of fish, shrimp etc.

Algae Library and Collection

ABT houses and preserves a large number of several classes of micro-algae, several species of which are unique to Saudi or have properties not found in overseas isolates. One of the main purposes of this library is to identify these unique algae and for them to become internationally recognized.

The library is a major resource of information for researchers, academics, ecotoxicologists, biotechnology companies and aquaculturists. It also provides informal support and advice on virtually every aspect of algal biology, and, on occasions, offers commercial consultancy services for biotechnological clients.

ABT provides, through direct involvement with the client, consultations dedicated to the delivery of cost effective environmental strategy packages. ABT supplies external consultancy, turnkey solutions and onsite technicians providing a one-stop shop for all your environmental needs.
